About Kim Villanti

Kim Villanti has enjoyed a 35 year career as a professional artist. She received a B.F.A. in Communications Arts with a minor in Ceramics from East Carolina University School of Art (North Carolina) and an A.A. in Graphic Arts from Montgomery College (Maryland). Before painting full time, Kim owned a graphic design consulting business with a focus in corporate communications, branding and employee benefits communications.  

Kim's paintings are done in oils, primarily of regional landscapes. She uses a combination of brushwork and palette knife to achieve the rich texture in her
works and is drawn to the saturation of color she sees in nature.
